Temple Square & City Creek

Fun times going to Temple Square and Shopping at City Creek.  When Rachel and Ryan came we all went to City Creek and ate at Market Street Grill.  Too bad we didn't get a picture with everyone! It was a blast.

Too bad Cole and Sara left for Hawaii, its been so great having them so close and getting to know Sara so well.  What a fun sister in law. I wouldn't ask for anyone better!

Traditions 

Every year Derek and I have started a Christmas tradition to watch Elf, or whatever fun Christmas movie there is and make a gingerbread house.  This year Cole and Sara came over and it was really fun.  Lane and Julie just missed it, they came over later that night.  Having family close is wonderful.

Well, after all the worrying about not making it to the hospital in time because I was at least 5cm dilated already it really worked out well. Luckily Thursday afternoon Doug had just gotten back from surfing and met Tucker and I at the park. We headed home and were working on some projects in the garage when my water broke around 6:30pm. Can I just say how glad I am that this didn't happen one hour earlier. It was practically perfect timing and I'm pretty sure that Heavenly Father was helping out with this one. 

BBQ's in the summertime

Lots of BBQ's and tin foil dinners this summer up the canyon. That is one of the best parts of living in Utah. How beautiful the mountains and the summers are here. I love it so much.  We just went up with a bunch of friends.  Sara and cole, and this is sara's sister in law.  

Grand Junction, CO

Grand Junction, CO

What a fun little trip!  Me, Derek, Cole and Sara went down to Grand Junction CO.  Ryan, Rachel and noah drove up 4 hours and we drove down 4 hours and all met in the middle.  I should have taken a picture of Rachel's aunts house because it was amazing. They were gone for the weekend and they had a huge pool and hot tub in the backyard. A fire pit, nice lawn furniture and a huge empty house.  So that was really fun getting together. We went on a fun hike, did smores at night and just hung out.  We also went to this hole in the wall mexican place.  Usually those kind of places are good.  Well lets just say we had a very interesting experience there.  But all in all it was a blast.  Can't wait to get together again soon!  

Fishing in NY

We had a great time fishing in NY this summer. It seemed like Derek wanted to go out everyday. That's probably because the waves were so bad. But it sure made Dad happy.  West Gilgo is so much fun!  I'm so glad we have a house there!
