Christmas 2012 at the Nielson's

Snowboarding in Sun Valley is so fun!  It was snowing all day and it may have been my favorite time snowboarding ever.

Me, Ryan, Derek, and Tanner.  Hanging out with the Boys

Me going into the Lounge to get some french fries and hot chocolate.  A long day of snowboarding.

Gordon Keeping up with the young whippersnappers.

The Nativity, Christmas Eve. It was Sara's idea to read the nativity. At first i was like oh great, I don't want to do this.  But then we got into character and it turned out to be really fun. Possibly a new tradition :)  I was the angel and derek was a wise man.

Ashley was riding tanner and laughing so hard, pretty funny!

Kate gets to be baby Jesus.  Lucky little girl.

I love that ryan looks like Aladdin.

Christmas Tree!

What a cute little boy!!

Getting ready for Hawaii!  Lucky ducks!

We also went over to Derek's good friend Morgan's house.  His dad built their own ice skating rink.  It was another one of those things where I felt like ah, I don't really want to do this but then ended up being really fun.

Tennis lessons with Dennis.  It was a fun morning where we all went and did tennis drills with Dennis. I was really nervous to go play because they are all so good.  But it ended up being really fun.

I had a blast this Christmas at the Nielson's.  I'll have to post about thanksgiving at our house but i don't have any of those pictures yet.  To be continued...

Baby Kate

Kate Sophia, was born December 15th at 5:47 p.m. She is

perfect, and we loved her instantly.

Temple Square & City Creek

Temple Square & City Creek

Fun times going to Temple Square and Shopping at City Creek.  When Rachel and Ryan came we all went to City Creek and ate at Market Street Grill.  Too bad we didn't get a picture with everyone! It was a blast.

All the boys together again :)

Too bad Cole and Sara left for Hawaii, its been so great having them so close and getting to know Sara so well.  What a fun sister in law. I wouldn't ask for anyone better!

Ginger Bread houses

Traditions

Every year Derek and I have started a Christmas tradition to watch Elf, or whatever fun Christmas movie there is and make a gingerbread house.  This year Cole and Sara came over and it was really fun.  Lane and Julie just missed it, they came over later that night.  Having family close is wonderful.
